A framework for navigating conflict and wrong-doing,
where relationships are repaired and communities are nurtured.
A framework for navigating conflict and wrong-doing,
where relationships are repaired and communities are nurtured.
The Restorative Practitioner is committed to supporting teachers and parents in their Restorative Practice journey. From developing a Restorative Mindset, to artfully repairing ruptures after wrong-doing, I believe healthy families and communities start first, with compassionate inquiry around harm and then second, by developing the skills needed to make reparation and participate in reintegration.
Motivated by my own Restorative Journey as a teacher with 22 years experience, I endeavour to be the person I needed when I was child... an adult who can self regulate, come to a situation with curiosity and mindfully repair relationships after there has been a rupture.
My approach to mentoring a community through Culture Change is rooted in self compassion, mindfulness, self exploration, deep inner work and holding space for a community to witness its members.
I work collaboratively with the teaching staff and parent body, along side the children to help them identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, develop a Restorative Mindset and the practical strategies needed to navigate conflict or wrongdoing and move towards the reparation of relationships. I use art, somatic practices and neuroscience to provide embodied learning experiences.
I believe that mentoring a school community is an honour and I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for communities to make the shift from a Punitive to a Restorative way of being.

I offer a range of services for schools, including one-on-one mentoring sessions, teacher professional development, in classroom mentoring, small group Healing Circles, Restorative Conferencing as well as Hosting Parent Workshops and offering support in policy and document review.
My areas of expertise include Social and Emotional Development, creating environments that meet the needs of neurodivergent folk, being trauma informed, teacher mentoring, facilitating Parent and Community workshops, running Restorative Conferences and working with children and adults with additional needs.
